Fresh full-bodied taste of the water. In addition to pollutants, unpleasant taste and odor components of the water are also removed. These include chlorine & sulfur. Activated carbon and hollow fiber membrane enable high filter performance. No electricity and no chemicals. Changing the filter cartridge is easy and takes minutes thanks to the twist lock of the under-sink filter FZ10 (see installation video).
The bluuwater filter cartridge protects against asbestos fibers, bacteria, bipolar pesticides, lead, chlorine, e.Coli bacteria, hormones, copper, medications, medicine, pharmaceutical residues, microorganisms, microplastics, rust, heavy metals, viruses.
Activated carbon: Filtering toxic heavy metals like nickel, chrome, lead, pipe deposits. Activated carbon is gently baked from natural coconut shells.
Sterile filter: Retention of pesticides, herbicides, microplastics, bacteria, and viruses up to 0.2µm. Filtered water of the highest quality with up to 8 liters per minute.
NSF/ANSI 42
Filters are certified to reduce aesthetic impurities such as chlorine and taste/odor. This can involve point-of-use treatment systems (under the sink, water jug, etc.) or point-of-entry systems (whole house).
NSF/ANSI 53
Filters are certified to reduce harmful contaminants. This standard establishes health effects as regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Health Canada. Both standards 42 and 53 cover adsorption/filtration. This is a process that occurs when liquids, gases, or dissolved/suspended substances adhere to the surface or in the pores of an adsorption medium. An example of this type of product is carbon filters.
